The Kellynoïde project is an artistic collaboration with performance artist and model Kelly Mézino (https://lakyrielle.fr/la-compagnie/), who has been my model since 2016.
Since 2022, we have chosen to work together to deeply explore and study the relationship between the artist and the model in the digital age.
We are also interested in how the digital artist confronts their own creation, and how the model must come to terms with the existence of her virtual double as it grows increasingly autonomous.

When we began our collaboration, our approach was fairly traditional — that of a portrait artist.
Over time, however, our work evolved into a true co-creation.
Together, we explore the creation of an autonomous Double-Other of Kelly Mézino, which we stage within our artistic works.
Through this process, we have developed a new and original vision of artistic creation — one that emphasizes the collaboration between the digital artist, the artist/model, and the virtual Double-Other, forming a new creative triangle that contributes to understanding how new technologies are transforming art and the relationship between artist and model.

“Kelly Conférencière” was the first public presentation of the Kellynoïde, during the Valeurs de l’empreinte conference in 2023 in Lyon.
“Line” is our first collaborative artwork featuring the Kellynoïde, and was presented at the Recto/Verso festival in 2023 during the Laval Virtual exhibition.
